The function of governance is to ensure that an organisation fulfils its overall purpose, achieves its intended outcomes and operates in an effective, efficient and ethical manner. The Board’s Standing Orders have been updated to make provision for meetings to be held remotely. These were approved by for submission to DEFRA and they were formally adopted by the Board in June 2021.
